Sales Data Import Guide

The Inbound Gateway allows you to seamlessly import your sales information into the INDEAL platform. Simply provide a CSV or Excel file with the required data columns, and we'll handle the rest.

Supported File Formats

You can submit your sales data in either of the following formats:

CSV (Comma-Separated Values)
XLSX (Microsoft Excel)

Required Data Columns

Your file must include the following columns. The column names don't need to match exactly, but the data should be organized accordingly:

Important Note

The rebate amount often excludes charges like shipping, tax, or other fees, depending on your specific agreement. Please refer to your contract terms to determine which amounts are eligible for rebate.

Optional Data Columns

While not required, these additional columns can provide more detailed information on your dashboard and improve accuracy:

Why Include Optional Fields?

Adding these optional columns gives you richer insights in your INDEAL dashboard. You'll be able to filter and analyze data by purchase order, track invoice accuracy, and monitor performance by sales rep or region. While not mandatory, these fields can significantly enhance your reporting capabilities.

Getting Started

Download the Sample File

Start with our sample template to see exactly how your data should be structured. This will help ensure a smooth import process.

Prepare Your Data

Organize your sales information into the four required columns: Date, Account Number, Sales, and Rebate. Ensure all dates and amounts are formatted consistently.

Save Your File

Save your prepared data as either a CSV or XLSX file. Make sure all required columns are present and the data is complete.

Upload to INDEAL

Login at https://portal.indeal.org to upload your sheet.
